- Cloud's Anacreontics for chorus and guitar received first place at the 2009 Sorel Medallion Choral Competition.
- Cloud has once again been chosen as a finalist for the Sorel Medallion Choral Composition Competition. Anacreontics for chorus and guitar is one of three pieces that will be featured on October 27 in Zankel (Carnegie) Hall.
- Summit Records will release a CD of Cloud’s art songs in early 2011. The CD, titled “Letting Escape A Song” features Cloud singing her own music along with singers Deborah Raymond, Ricardo Pereira, Eileen Strempel and Tod Fitzpatrick. Pianists include Rita Borden, Sylvie Beaudette and Robert Mills. Guitarist Ken Meyer and clarinetist Jeremy Reynolds are also featured.
- Cloud’s latest song cycle, Four Songs of the Heart, with poems by British poet Kathleen Raine, was composed for soprano Jennifer Trost and pianist Arlene Shrut.
- On March 22 Cloud's newest song set Four Sonnets by Pablo Neruda, Set 2 was premiered by the Strempel-Beaudette duo in a concert presented by the Society for New Music in Syracuse, NY. The duo performed these songs again on March 24 at the 5th annual Women in Music Festival at the Eastman School of Music.
- Anacreontics for chorus and guitar, commissioned by Cantori and Robert Cowles, conductor and professor at Hobart and William Smith Colleges was premiered in April in Geneva, NY.
